Embec Care are taking all necessary steps to minimise the risks associated with Coronavirus. As a company we are providing all our staff with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) packs which contains; gloves, aprons and face masks. All staff are also provided with anti-bacterial hand wash and hand sanitiser which they use on arrival and departure of every visit as well as frequently throughout their time. As a company we also have face shields, shoe protectors, long cuff gloves and arm protectors.

On every visit staff will clean all contact points, this includes but is not limited to; handles both doors and cupboards, keysafes, light switches, plug sockets and mobility aids. 

​

All staff both in the community and office based complete lateral when symptoms arise of COVID-19. 

Any person who tests positive will be pulled from working immediately and contact will be made to those who the staff member has been in contact with. 

 

As always there is as few carers involved in the care package to keep continuity and help build relationships however this will also minimise risk of any exposure if an outbreak did occur.
