The Great West Midlands Care Awards 2016

                    
Congratulations Dawn for winning and to Juliette for reaching the  regional finals.

Embec Care was finalist for the care employer award and Juliette (in the photo on the left) was a finalist for the Home Care Worker award. Dawn won the care employer award for Embec Care!

Employer Star Awards 2014

Dawn Jackson, Employer STAR Award in the Category of Small Business Excellence Winner.

"Embec Care Limited is a small company established seven years ago which now employs up to 30 people. They offer services to costumers who experience relative disadvantages as a result of frailty, illness or disability, providing practical and personal support for people living in their own homes, helping them to sustain their independence and minimise any risks to their health and safety.

Birmingham Metropolitan College has worked with Embec Care for six years providing training at a variety of levels to over 80% of staff covering levels 2 and 3 QCF Health & Social Care, Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care and NCFE courses in Dementia, End of Life, Equality & Diversity and Medication."






Great British Care Awards 2013





Leanne Newbold, The Home Care Registered Manager Award Finalist.

"I Joined Embec Care over two years ago as a bank home support worker and quickly became a contracted member of staff. Showing potential I became a senior and completed my QCF level 2. Moving on to become registered manager, I am currently completing my level 5 QCF"


Victoria Williamson, The Dementia Carer Award Finalist.

"I've worked at Embec Care as an Apprentice and now as the Assistant Supervisor of Day Care, seeing it expand from half a day to two full days. Working primarily with dementia and studying my Level 2 in Health & Social care I feel I've learned and achieved a lot."

The Ceretas Home Care Awards 2009


  Dawn Jackson New Manager in Home Care  National Finalist: "Dawn Jackson was nominated for a this award she had demonstrated a high level of expertise together with exceptional skills in managing the complex business of providing support and care to people in their own homes"

Dawn and her team of staff went to London to collect the award which was presented by Ruby Wax and shared in the excitement of the evening.
